How does the smart car do in the winter?

I was looking into buying a smart car. I'm living in newfoundland, Canada. I know they're small and all. I like them a lot and I'd like to know how they are. What do you think about them?|||If price, parking, and gas is a issue with you, get the smart. In my opinion, the smart is less convenient. Its small, only for two passengers, less trunk space, and it can be a bit claustrophobic. The fuel economy is okay 33/41 mpg , but I wouldn't get it. Compared to a 4 Liter Honda Civic 26/34 mpg or a Toyota 4 Liter Corolla 26/35 mpg.

If you look at it, you only get a 6-7 mpg difference for something that small and less convenient.

Most cars are well tested in any environment, so the smart should perform well in the winter.
