Looking 2 buy a new car maybe hybrid or smart car, or electric?

own a cleaning business so we drive all over the state of RI. Should I get a hybrid car, electric, or smart car. Must be very basic and solid as the cleaners will be driving it and will not take care of it as it is their own.|||Malibu or Corolla.Small gas engine. Not hybrid electric or smart.|||i would get a hybrid, prius is an obvious choice with 46 mpgs. dont buy the smart car because it has a limited range and is not room, nor could it be a proper car for any delivery business. The vw golf tdi (diesel) gets 40 mpgs and is an excellent car. Honda makes great hybrids, such as the civic, which is very reliable. japanese is the way to go with this one, a malibu will barely nudge 20mpgs btw.
