Can you drive a smart car on just a provisional license?

Someone told me that you can drive by yourself a smart on just a provisional license because the power is - like the same as a moped . Is this correct or not|||hahaha NO! The smart is a car, and you need a valid license to drive it. Sorry bud, wait a few months :)|||i got told that but you cant because it has 4 wheels or something stupid like that is classed as a car.

I no that sounds stupid lol but my boyfriend is in the motor trade and he said its 100% no.
