Does anybody have a good reason to get a Smart Car?

What is a good reason to get one? How would you convince someone to get a smart car? Reason im asking is for myself but also a friend of mine is looking for a car. She keeps whining about the gas and everything and i told her about a smart car and she said its a clown car but now her family and friends are trying to make her get one instead of a G35 or 350z which is bad on gas and that is what she is worrying about in the first place. so what are some benefits getting a smart car?|||Buy a Civic Couple instead. Best car for the price, period!|||Why do you call it the Smart car?


No one says Honda car or Ford car or BMW car, so why say Smart car?





There are three Smart's.


Smart Fortwo, Smart Forfour, Smart Roadster.





If you live in America, there is only the Smart Fortwo, which is a two seater.





They are made by Mercedes Benz so Smart's are unreliable, expensive to maintain and fix and require premium fuel and only come with automatic transmissions.





For a 1.0L 3 cylinder 70HP engined lightweight car, it gets bad gas mileage at only 41mpg and is expensive at $11,000-25,000 depending on options.





Just a little better than Honda Civic and Toyota Corolla.|||It seems like she is looking at a totally different type of car than a smart car. Both the G35 and the 350z are sports cars. The smartcar is about as far from a sports car as you can get. The main reason that you would get a smartcar is for near-hybrid mpg, for much cheaper. If she can afford a g35, or a 350z, then she can afford a hybrid, like a Prius.|||Possibly a very good reason is if you live in a urban area with very scarce parking, such as San Francisco. These cars have a very small exterior and you can squeeze them into the smallest parking spaces possible.|||You can put it in your purse if there are no available parking spots.


It has everything you really need. Trunk space is big enough for a couple cases of beer and Doritos and a BarB.|||The only reason to buy a Smart Car is to have a supply of new parts when your other one breaks down. I see more of these rides on the shoulder than any other here so I wouldn't buy one.|||only reason to by one would be to wreck it they are POS.|||Nothing. Smart cars are really dumb.
