A Smart car has a tiptronic gear system its classed as a semi automatic vehicle.|||Give your local police station a call or your insurance company and ask them.I don't think that you can as it is not fully automatic.

Tiptronic you still have to change gear.........and with an Automatic licence you're not qualified to change gear at all.|||worry about gettin in the car first. Check it out at DVLA|||The definition of a manual car states that the car must have a clutch pedal. I have looked into this for my self as I only have an automatic license, and any car without a clutch pedal is deemed as drivable in the UK with an automatic license.|||nope , sorry smart cars have not been made into automatic yet :(
