Smart Car continues beeping once turned off?

When I turn off my Smart Car, its warning beep continues as though the lights or something else is on, but nothing is? Does anyone know why this happens? The lgiths are off, stereo, internal light ect. If i turn the car back on then off, it stops! Anyone have this problem or have an idea as to what is the problem?|||I'm not sure what the problem is, but I'm not 100% sure as to why you bought a Smart Car either.|||Sometimes ignition switches hang up a bit - try wiggling the key in the end of the slot to see if it clicks and makes the dinging stop.
