I dont get it??? Why is it that you can buy a brand new smart car for about 1/2 of what the used ones are being sold for? Is it just becasue there is a waiting list?|||you can't buy a new one unless you've been on a waiting list or paid the deposit months ago.

People have a tendency to ask what they feel their "precious" car is worth despite other considerations. And then the market sets prices according to speculation, similar to the oil industry. At the end of the day, value itself is speculative since it can be assigned to anything, but it means nothing unless you can get someone to pay that price!|||Supply and demand.Some unscrupulous dealers are trying to turn big profits.
